Okay yes that makes a lot of sense, I forgot Visionquest was coming out so soon tbh

I’m glad the mouse is allowing both shows to have their own release days and hopefully giving pjo a good chance to capitalize on viewership

I was definitely surprised by the change, my first thought was that maybe Disney plus has other shows that will be coming out on Wednesdays so they want to spread out their line up?? Idk but if so that’s great for pjo, they clearly want to allow it to have its time to shine each week

Streaming is obviously such a different landscape than traditional television so I’m not sure how much the day of the week matters but I feel like Fridays are good, it gives event time slot energy to me (maybe because movies also premiere on Fridays, kicks off the weekend, etc)

I hear you on the slow burn but the cheek kiss was meant to happen in sea of monsters so 👀

yeah I totally get why everyone is dying to see it since it happens earlier in the books, but I do think it’s easier to have moments like that in a book vs a tv show if that makes sense - like idk imo in a tv show any sort of physical affection feels 10x stronger because we’re actually seeing it with our eyes

I also like that they’re allowing us to be surprised by some of these moments in the show, they don’t always happen where we expect them to which adds to my excitement personally (trust me I’ll be jumping up and down fr if we do get a cheek kiss this season)

ultimately I’m just trusting the process and along for the ride because I’ve loved how they’ve handled percabeth so far and I think this season is gonna be unreal for us percabeth stans (and I can always go back to reread the books if I’m craving a specific moment or scene)

I’d freak out omg but also I don’t mind the more slow burn route they’ve been doing with percabeth in regards to physical affection because I think it’ll make the eventual pay off super rewarding

that being said I would obviously not complain if it did happen LMAO I’d be over the moon
