I don't usually make posts like this so sorry if it looks messy or if I say anything incorrect

The US Government is currently trying to pass a national bill that is highly dangerous for queer people

H.R. 2616 — Which bans all federally funded schools from talking about gender identity and sexual orientation.

This act is said to do the following things

Prevent teachers from using the correct names and pronouns of trans students

Ban books that have trans characters present in them

and go as far as to prevent teachers from acknowledging that queer people exist.

This is not an act of "protecting kids" this is oppression of already vulnerable people.
