They go to sleep, Adam wrapped around Lucifer, fingers intwined. Eyes close as Adam smells the lingering scent of Lucifer's shampoo and Lucifer feels Adam's loving embrace. Arms and bodies relaxing as they drift off.

Lucifer grows warmer as he sleeps, so Adam rolls over onto his back subconsciously seeking out some cool space. Of course barnacle Lucifer follows and cuddles into Adam's side.

Adam eventually rolls again to move away from the heat and Lucifer starts getting uncomfortably warm himself and rolls back into his vacant cool spot, kicking the covers off himself as he goes.

It feels so much better to vent that heat trapped under the covers for a while before Lucifer starts getting cool and wakes a little between sleep cycles, pulling the blankets back up. Adam has moved to his back once more as the overwhelming heat is gone and Lucifer cuddles back in.
