Literally the most fucked up thing to announce this?!
You were already working as a speechwriter for the Reagan Administration in the late 1980s. Why the hell was your mom waiting tables to pay for your student loans after that?!
"I didn't need handouts! I just made an elderly woman toil in a high-stress high-physicality sub-minimum-wage job to pay my way even when I had the money! Letting today's kids go to college without enslaving their elders is just insulting."
country boys wear the tightest pair of blue jeans youāve ever seen and unbutton their flannel to the nipple like.. who at this rodeo needs to know youāre a slut. the clown?

Ahh, itās back
i have disproportionately strong feelings about this.
every time i say ānah iām not gonna watch it again.ā BUT I STILL DO EVERY TIME.
YEAUGH
*GASPS* Are you goddamn kidding me??? I fucking hate the lack of infrastructure in my country. God.
Dude if I could take a train 400 miles anywhere I would pay 14 dollars just for a seat, never mind all those amenities. Jeez.
Reasons I remind myself I donāt like my country number who knows what
While this is super cool in and of itself, Iād also like to remind people that modern high speed rail (most of which is in China these days) operates at around 200 miles/hour (Chinaās fastest train actually operates at 370+ mph but thatās an absolute state of the art maglev, the 200 mph number is average rail speed). If we actually invested in these train systems, you wouldnāt even need an overnight ticket to make a 400 mile trip. To put that in an American context, it would allow you to get from New York to Los Angeles (the famous Cannonball Run taken by car enthusiasts for decades) in about 15 hours, which is 10 hours better than the current Cannonball Run record. With that kind of speed, you could take an evening train halfway across the country (Boston to Chicago would be ~5 hours) for a weekend trip.
Trains are not just more convenient (no driving!), but technologically superior to cars.

how youtube makeup gurus be to me.
If yāall wanna know the true power of hate, just remember that Alan Turing, the breaker of the enigma code in WWII, was driven to suicide by being forced to undergo chemical castration as a punishment for his homosexuality.
Historians say he saved 14 to 21 million lives.
Iād also like to say in the time we studied WWII in school, the history textbooks never mentioned him. I had never heard of the guy until I watched āThe Imitation Gameā which I 110% recommend you watch if you havenāt.Alan Turing was a blessing to humanity who saved (once again) 14 to 21 million lives, and he is left out of history because he was gay.
And this is just one example?? So many brilliant and heroic people are left out of history because of their race, their gender, their sexuality, their religion, and itās just because some bigots in positions of influence get to decide what parts of history are remembered.
This man has had a profound effect on the world, itās estimated he shortened the war by 2 years, saved countless lives and was the father of modern computing. Without him the world would be a very different, and very dark place.
He wasnāt just chemically castrated. The injections they have him were intended to decrease his libido as part his sentence for āgross indecencyā. About 2 years after his trial he was found dead in his apartment next to a half eaten apple that was filled with cyanide (which became the inspiration for the Apple logo).
Turing is one of the most amazing people in all of history. He developed our modern method of computing (see: the Turing Machine) and advanced computer science by immeasurable amounts. And he dies when he was 41. Just imagine if he lived in a world where he was accepted. Imagine the technology we would have today and how many more lives would have been saved. No person deserves what Turing got, especially not someone as brilliant as him.
TEACH. CHILDREN. ABOUT. ALAN. TURING! WHEN THEY LEARN ABOUT WWII, THEY DESERVE TO KNOW ABOUT THE MAN WHO ENDED IT!!!
