The Elegy

Elegy is a War song, Love poem, Political verses, lamentation for the dead.

Though elegy is a lamentation for dead,it conveys the most powerful feelings of humankind according to me! Nothing is more terrible as the death of a person..What if it’s our loved ones? We should be expressing our grief through something and it’s important that at least our words reach them through the air. Elegy is that one kind of literature that can makes a person grave and gay at the same time! You know it’s always the power of literature✨

The magic of 14 lines!

Sonnet is a short poem of 14 lines that has been originally recited with the accompaniment of music.

How beautiful it is to read something that targets one single emotion without any deviation? You’re into a world of imagination just with 14 lines like howwwwwww? Don’t we just remember the classical sonnets by the great Petrarch ummm.. that sound kinda serious! Okay, how about Shakespearean sonnet? Aren’t they romantic? It’s full of love and life! But sonnets are more than that! Getting introduced by the later half of 13th century it still rules the literary world! Apart from this there’s the rhyming scheme that decorates the verses with beautiful sound!! If you’re dead bored go read a sonnet and get your life together lol!
