A Blog Dedicated To The Progress Of My YNFGS ❤️

I promise that this game WILL be finished since having a finished Yume Nikki Fangame is a part of my bucket list, but for now it is basically on the back burner as my 10+ year old cintiq that I used to make the pixel art with finally died rip

I don’t really have the time or room to get a new one right now, but I’m hoping in the future I can so I can get back to work on the art portion of the game! 💙

I blocked out stuff like effects, photo locations, and other secrets planned, but I thought I’d show off how many worlds there are and stuff 👀

Green check marks mean the worlds are 100% finished, red check marks means they’re about 50% finished, and blanks mean there isn’t anything finished yet

There are also a bit more things to do and places to see, but nothing really major/all that note worthy lol

I did also replace one of the photographs cause the OG image (listed below for archival purposes lol) had an iPhone and I wanted the time period to be a little more ambiguous~

So uh… I see it’s been almost a WHOLE YEAR since my last post ahah

But I came in here to say apologies for no response for a long time! I ended up putting all my games on a back burner as life got busy and I moved on to being a VTuber 👁️🎀

I hadn’t had inspiration for the games for a long time… until I found out that recently two guys streamed my game! 😭💙

It shocked me so much that it inspired me to get some big chunks of the game out of the way, and at least see the errors in their playthrough to fix as an update by the end of this week! (I still have no idea how they made the game go so fucking FAST at the crystal woods area 😂😭)

It has been a dream of mine to have a finished Yume Nikki Fangame, so this is not over yet!

Maybe in the future I’ll stream myself working on the game on my VTuber channel (SleepyMichaela), but for now I’ll continue working on it when I can… in the shadows 👁️…

I just replaced the zip folder of the original download. So you can download the updated version as a compressed ZIP folder at the same link posted before.

I still hope you all have fun! It took me like half an hour just to record the walkthrough :,D

This is why I personally don’t actually play YNFG... I get lost easily even in my own maps!

Every time I filmed I found more stuff that actually needed fixed lol So fixed them but now Im too tired to try and record again rip I’ll try to have a walkthrough out this week/weekend when I’m off!

I swear I don’t mean to just dump a bunch of stuff this week but I got around to doing Husk! He is the protag for the other ynfg called Doppelganger, that’s more inspired by Motel Snooze than it is Yume Nikki sfalnkds

I’m honestly still debating whether to still consider it a YNFG or more of just, loosely inspired??
