Jessa settled in New York City and studied nursing at New York Presbyterian.. She normally did an excellent job. One night after seeing Knox in concert, she cried all night. While passing out meds the next day she gave the wrong dosage of Trazodone making her patient go into a coma for four days,, She was investigated and forced to leave her internship, but still given her license.

Jessa was pregnant when she left Knox. However she didn’t know it at the time.. SIx weeks passe d and not only did she realize how much she missed him and loved him. She contacted his manager but the message never got to Knox. Jessa believed that Knox didn’t want her and in her fifth month, she was in a car accident and had a miscarriage.

While at a party she had been invited to by a few friends she had enjoyed her time. During the evening she had ventured upstairs to find another bathroom when she heard strange noises from behind a closed door. Opening it a crack she saw a few male figures hovering over a girl on the bed. Quietly shutting the door she made a beeline out of there, not telling a soul what she saw. When a few days later, and a report was issued she was declared missing she never came forward with what she knew of that night.

In high school, at seventeen, she had found out she was pregnant with her boyfriends baby. The idea of having a child frightened her, knowing she was not ready for something this huge. In secret she had used her parents money, fled town to a place she could legally get an abortion, without it coming out what she was doing. The guilt of terminating her child, without her boyfriends knowledge killed her and she ended up turning him down on prom night when he asked her to marry him.

When she was 12, she had attempted to take her own life. Her parents found her locked in the bathroom, having swallowed nearly a whole bottle of pain medicine her mother was on from an accident a few months back. While she received help, her parents made her keep it quiet as it was embarrassing to the family that their only child, at a young age, attempted to take her life.

He has lung cancer. Because of poor life choices in high school with cigarettes, he doomed himself. He'd rather not have people treat him any differently because he's sick. He sched his appointments and treatments when he knows people won't be bothering him. 

He does what he needs to get by. He struggled with Depression and anxiety, because of this he is a self-harmer and has tried to take his own life and still battles with these thoughts, because he's sick, this just makes things worse for him. He keeps this quiet because he doesn't want people to sit and tell him what he needs and should do and act as if they understand him. 

He's the reason why his mother is dead. When he was a teen he and his mother got into a heated argument, so the moment she got into his face he shoved her. Her head smacked against the counter edge and cracked open, he panicked and just ran out of the house and hid for a few hour's processing what happened. Upon returning he discovered she had died on the kitchen floor. It was assumed that it was just a freak accident.
