♡ your island isn't ugly!

a lot of these islands are either modded / edited to look the way they do, or have been being built for months or even years, they didnt look that way over night

♡ aesthetics arent everything

your island is meant to be unique and creative! it doesnt need to be the cookie cutter mold of a certain aesthetic or 'core'

♡ love your villagers because they love you!

you dont need to have a certain set of villagers to have a happy and cute island

♡ getting items is hard, dont beat yourself up over what you don't have

once again a lot of these people have been playing for a long time, have multiple islands, or use sites like nookazon and twitch to get a lot of the things they have on their island (I use nookazon too!)
