Munakata really wasn’t sure why Suoh was feeling friendly enough to actually invite him somewhere - usually their run-ins were unplanned, after all. But he glanced away for a moment, considering, then shrugged gently, “I won’t go to bar Homra… But I wouldn’t object to going somewhere else.” 

"That an invitation?" he teased lightly with that lazy grin of his. It was fine if Munakata didn't want to go to the bar. But where else would he go? Another bar or something? Oh well. It wasn't something he'd dwell on for long.

Munakata watched the smoke wind lazily through the air, simply for something else to look at, and he glanced over again only when Suoh spoke up once more. Take a day off? Before he had the chance to reply that it wasn’t quite that simply, Suoh kept speaking. Munakata scoffed lightly, “An invitation from the King himself?” Certainly strange, but rather than be rude about his declining, he chose to keep his tone playful for some banter, “Unfortunately, I’ll have to pass. Seems like it would be rather too noisy an establishment for my tastes.”

The man shrugged. "Not always noisy." he stated. Today was... and that was why he was out here in the first place. But Munakata didn't need to know that. "Offer stands, though." he stated with a bit of amusement. Just because their clans were at each other's throats 90% of the time didn't mean he couldn't be friendly when he felt like it.

Munakata was a tad surprised by the question, and allowed his expression to reflect that briefly. But there was no reason why he couldn’t answer that question, so he shrugged lightly, “Sort of. I can schedule days where I won’t be in my office, but I am technically always on-call in case something comes up.” Here his expression turned slightly more deadpan, and he added, “So, thanks to you and your gang, I haven’t had a day off in a while, no.” But he wasn’t really mad about it - or, rather, even if he was, he knew nothing would change.

Mikoto took a drag off of his cigarette and let out a puff of smoke a moment later. Much like the king himself the smoke seemed to lazily float in the air around him before vanishing. He wasn't the least bit sorry about his clansmen causing chaos for Munakata's clan. It was a two way street after all. "You should take a day off then." he commented casually. "You can always relax in Homra. Your second in command seems to visit a lot on her days off." Not to mention it was always amusing to see his friend pale whenever the woman came in and ordered her crazy drinks. He almost felt sorry for Izumo... almost.

Munakata wasn’t surprised to see the lazy grin, rather used to that expression on Suoh’s face, honestly. He nodded absently to the reasoning; obviously it wasn’t like there was anything wrong with merely taking a walk for the sake of it, so long as he didn’t get up to anything illegal, of course. He glanced back at his clansmen when Suoh commented on his business, and shrugged lightly, “Not particularly. I’m only here to observe, and the situation is already under control. I have what I came for, and the Strain is already captured.” He shrugged almost indifferently. This literally was just part of the job, so he didn’t think of it in any particular way, and wasn’t bragging, but merely stating a fact.

Mikoto nodded slightly. The blues were always efficient like that weren't they? Though he had to wonder something... "Do you ever have a day off, Munakata?" he asked sounding mildly curious. To the red king, the blue king seemed to always be on duty. Not that it really mattered to him. But he did get curious from time to time. His lazy smile never seemed to fade.
