Okay, I'mma talk a lot rn so be prepared for a whole Stargirl episode plot idea from me. (I haven't watched episode 12 yet cause it's still not available in my country so I am sorry if I messed up a lot and we actually saw the school dances lol)
We all know that Cameron asked Courtney to those dances on Saturday, right? Well, WHAT THE HELL HAPPENED TO THOSE DANCES?! Are the writers just gonna skip this detail, hoping that we won't notice?! Well, this Saturday can be really helping for the series actually.
After Courtney found out that Cameron's father might be Icicle she'd probably be afraid to go out with him. But that's also a good opportunity to check if he knows something. And as we all know Courtney she decides to go. But she takes her backup. At first they don't want to go (only Beth is alright with the idea). Yolanda is scared that people will start to make fun of her as soon as she appears there since she won't be acting so invisible anymore. It takes ages to convince her but she does it anyway to watch Courtney's back. Rick simply hates school dances but since everyone else are going he won't separate from the team ("But I am not wearing a dumb suit, that's too much." - translation from Rick-ese: I don't have a suit and enough money to buy one so I'mma act tough).
Rick is standing at the corner watching with ✨disguise✨ all of the clingy things the couples do. Not something interesting. The important is with Yolanda here. She appears all dressed up and extremely nervous that people would treat her awfully here because she ONLY DARED to show up after the nudes came out. But she never realised that the only people that were making fun of her after this happened were Henry (yes, I am crying whenever I think of him) and Cindy. But since he's dead (💀😢) and Cindy is locked in her father's basement lmao no one actually bothers to mock. Even Jenny only looked at her and didn't say anything. Some people even said "hi". Everything was forgotten. I even expect some boy to come and ask her for a dance and her to ask him "Why would you do that after what I did?" and him answering "Everyone makes mistakes, it's not that of a big deal." +bonus if we actually get another Yolanda and her family scene after that.
Courtney and Cameron. Yeah, I ship Courtney with two different people and that's confusing me. But still. Camney (or however their ship name was, I forgot it lol) shippers would get something more than an awkward invitation and even more awkward hug. Besides if Courtney decide that she ca trust him she might tell him all about the JSA and his father and he'll probably talk to Jordan.
Now, maybe my favourite part - Hournite. WE WILL FINALLY GET SOME HOURNITE SCENES (or at least I hope so)! Imagine Rick mockingly staring at the clingy teens in front of him until BETH appears all dressed up too. And we've never actually seen Beth dressed up so it's going to be some kind of Cinderella scene (we've never seen Yolanda and Courtney with a ball dress too but admit it - it's different for Beth, that's an absolute change from her usual style). Rick is speechless for the first fucking time since... I dunno since when but let's just say that the "bad boy" will turn into a awkward, clumsy softie for seconds. SECONDS. Then he realises that he's wearing his usual hoodie and sneakers and is like *shuts eyes* *gulp* *whispers* "Yep, I am an idiot".
So yeah, I'mma stop spamming you with this rn and move on lmao.
