My feet hurt. My back hurts. My head hurts. My eyelids are drooping. I have to be up before the sun again tomorrow. I'm tired.

Yet...

I want to serve. I want to be with someone that I want to serve, no matter how exhausted and sore I am. To put their pleasure before my needs, without grumbling, without even having to be asked. I want to feel that need burn inside me for the one I'm with. I'll give myself to them, and they will, in turn, take care of me.

By far one of my favorite types of training. For me, it is a solid foundation that allows further instruction to build. It brings clarity and certainty, which allows me to serve fully. By having the choice of how to sit or stand removed from me, I can focus my attention more fully on my Dominant. I know what is expected of me, and I can bask in that.

I feel content and safe when I'm in a posture, whether I'm kneeling or bracing for punishment. It is such a simple form of service, yet it is potent.

My most recent Dominant named each posture after a poisonous plant. If he instructed me into a posture and I hesitated or made any error, I was punished accordingly. He could snap or say a single word, and I knew exactly what to do. I love that synchronicity.

I'm very interested in learning the ways and postures of the kajira. It's been a fantasy of mine for a long while.
