If you noticed, we skipped over 8.17. 3 months ago, I had a grand idea of producing 8.17 as a video. There were things I wanted to convey that I couldn’t achieve with screenshots, and I had a specific vision for how to convey those ideas. As the months went by, I felt pressured to finish the video. But I felt that it was a disservice if I released it in a state I didn’t deem complete. So not to hold up the story any longer, I rewrote the narrative to accommodate the missing video. For those who still follow Skysteel after such a long pause, I really appreciate it. I hope to release 8.17 soon.

This chapter took ages for me to produce. It was difficult writing and shooting it. In fact I had to reset my loadout to get it done. But in the end, this feels like the most *Skysteel* chapter I’ve written in a while. What you make matters

I recently attended an innovation conference and I listened to a talk that was quite inspiring.

I know the struggle of creating something and hoping it to take off, but never really hitting the numbers you dreamed of. There are times where you know you’re going to put in a lot of hours on something that might not perform to your expectations.

But if you succeeded in resonating with one person, then that’s success. I’m happy with my Skyfam, and I know the people this story resonates with. A lot of you are putting the work into making cool shit, and I just wanted you all to know what you’re making is cool as fuck, and it’s important. Even if it only has 1 updoot.
