I’m not sure what inspired me to do this, but this is the story of my life told through a series of moodboards. Why? Because I want people that are struggling to know that they aren’t alone, that there are others that understand them, and that everything will be okay.
The point of this post is to let those that are struggling know that what they feel is valid. There are people out there that know how you feel. There are people that understand.
And, to those of you that are on the road to recovery, keep going. It’s okay to trip and fall. It’s okay to question whether it’s really worth it. Those feelings are real and valid, but they don’t define you. Take a deep breath, patch yourself up, and keep going because what’s on the other side of the mountain you’re climbing is so much more beautiful than anything you’ve ever seen.
Sometimes it’ll hurt. You might fall and wonder if there’s even a point in getting back up. You may even wonder if this mountain is worth climbing. It is. Believe me.
There was a point where I fell, where I backslid so far that I thought there was no hope for me. Depression is like a sinkhole. You rarely see it coming until it’s already there, and it hurts like hell when it hits. It’s easy to get sucked into that pit when everything falls apart. There’s no shame in that. But, don’t let that stop you from digging yourself out. It’s hard, and it hurts if you fall back in, but eventually, you’ll find a way to pull yourself up to the surface again.

To the ones that at the foot of that mountain
To the ones that are climbing that mountain
To the ones that are standing at the peak
I love you all, and I wish you the best. No matter where you are, I believe in you. I know you can get there. So, take a deep breath, patch yourself up, and keep going.
