there’s something so gutwrenching about the fact that the female characters in obsession have real dreams and wishes but never get the chance to see them realized, while both male characters waste their wishes on short-term selfish satisfaction. they were complex, free-spirited young women who just wanted to create art, and they were destroyed by a man determined to confine them to his superficial perception of them. nikki wanted to be a writer, sarah wanted to be a tattoo artist and now neither of them will get to be anything at all

Does anyone know if the trailer for season 1 of Good Omens ever played as part of previews before films in theatres? Because there are no mentions of the trailer being in cinemas anywhere online so now I'm starting to think I've gaslit myself into believing this happened but I SWEAR the first time I ever heard about Good Omens was seeing the trailer for it during the previews for Rocketman in May 2019. Which in retrospect is funny as fuck. Oh this movie is gay and British? Have I got the trailer for you

I've always found Good Omens' kinda-crappy CGI very campy and for me it added to its charm but I think it's tragically hilarious how the season they had the most shoestring budget imaginable for was the one that needed the MOST CGI since the story stopped taking place primarily on Earth
Yes most of the episode was clunky as fuck but I sincerely believe that those last 25 minutes or so literally made up for the entire hour before it

I've always had this idea that if ever there were human versions of Aziraphale and Crowley, they'd have this moment where Azi would tell Crowley that sometimes when the sun hits him just right his eyes look almost yellow because brown eyes look golden in the sunlight and I've always wanted to make a comic out of it but I didn't have the drawing skillset back then. Here's the third comic in the Open World AU. I decided it would be more interesting if the cast also had some limited ability to conjure and worldcraft, so I wanted to explore that. This comic is both the longest I've done yet and is the most involved painting-wise. I hope it was worth the wait!

Now that it's basically confirmed (??) that the circus members are just brain scans of real people who went on about their lives after putting on the headset, I can't stop thinking about their human counterparts meeting each other by chance and being like "I feel like I already know you for some reason but I can't understand why"
I know that logistically there's no reason for that to happen but regardless I think it's a cute idea
