Feel free to submit a character you don't already see using the ask function. The objective of this blog is to collect and record every skunk character known to media, as well as appreciate and respect them. I reblog skunks in general. I talk about them. They are cool and nice.
Additions to the skunkdex will be tagged as '#dex entry' and anything else will be tagged as '#other'
Asks must meet these criteria to be considered:
• Character must be a skunk, as in instantly identifiable as a member of the skunk family or closely resembling one. They can be a quadrupedal skunk or an anthropomorphic one. They can be referred to as a skunk in-universe or by canon out of universe media. They can have ears, a tail, and a fur pattern associated with skunks. They can be part skunk or only resembling one. All of these are valid qualifications, but I will leave it up to my final discretion.
• Character must be fictional and from a form of media; Books, movies, shows, video games, etc. and have at least one visual reference. (Different versions of the same character don't count as individual unless a significant amount of their personality or design has been changed as to differentiate them from their other counterparts) (As much as I love OCs they unfortunately cannot be counted as popular characters)
• Character must have a name. "The skunk from the background of Narnia" only counts as a valid submission if they have a canon name, which I ask you please submit if you know it. Submissions that say "Here's one from xxx but I forgot their name" or "Here's xxx but I forgot where they're from" will not be accepted if I can't confirm their name or origin, but I promise I'll look.
• Character must not already be registered in the dex. Obviously I won't add an entry twice.
