How to get blueprints for FTL Fuel and Space Pass v1:

Visit a space station and talk to the alien at the top. The first time you talk to the alien you’ll get the FTL Fuel recipe. Travel to another star system, go to the space station, and talk to the alien in the same spot to get the Space Pass v1 recipe. There is no way to get v2 or v3 of the Space Pass, or open the door to the empty room in the space station.
