I posted this on my other account before I got locked out, but I really would like more people to look into the anger younger John Watson absolutely had and harbors in the bbc adaptation. I head cannon John having learned the coping mechanism best suited for his anger in the military, but before that he was a menace. Football and rugby were great physical outlets for him but it wasn’t enough; he would get into fights with anyone who was dumb enough to mention John’s father, harry and John couldn’t stand to be near each other because they just fed off each others tempers. John Watson has blood on his hands as an adult, and i whole heartedly believe he was getting them bloodied as a teen in a few fist fights because he didn’t know how to cope.
