The apathy of a two benadryl dinner

I’m controversial to those who never liked me to begin with. I’m provocative to those who never understood. I’m challenging to the easily challenged. And I’m disturbing to the easily disturbed. My friends don’t fear me. They love me for who I am. They treat me with respect like a normal human being. They accept me, when people go out of their ways not to.

Forget all that wholesome crap. If I’m angst, so be it. We’re angsty as FUCK!! Ain’t no one can tell us different! That’s our heart and soul. Is taking the outcast inside of us and creating ourselves a community where we’re all safe inside it. I want to be able to do that one day. To be somebody’s reason to carry on. To be the one person someone can turn to, even without saying anything. Just putting our album on and coming out better. Hopefully, one day I can progress and evolve as a songwriter to convey these emotions to others to feel.
