Gaslite opened in the 50s, merged with the Sulinda motel next door in the 70s; demolished in the 90s. “53 large, elegantly furnished units with separate dressing rooms and running ice water. The Signal station and Lincoln Mercury dealership on the left are the site of the Stratosphere. Sulinda and Gaslite motels on the right were demolished in ‘96 and turned into parking.
