I am honestly beginning to wonder if it is possible for me to have friends. Not because I am fundamentally unlovable, mind you. But I can't perform many of the basic tasks required to obtain and maintain them. I can't reach out. I can't reciprocate if they do. I can't be available or reliable. I can't confide. I can't this, I can't that. I never learned or I subsequently unlearned all the most important parts of keeping friends after I decided I didn't need them. Now that I am beginning to want friends again, my failure to try and failure when I almost try are symbols of the hole I have dug myself into.

When I decided to finally make a social media account it was even though I was not prepared for the commitment, so that I might already be established before fully AI accounts became a regular concern... I am starting to think that I just got the worst of both worlds instead.
