Summer Kid's Nightly Crap

It has been a while since chief Theresa Spence’s hunger strike, vowing that she’s willing to die for her cause, and now she’s still hanging in there. At the beginning, it was really quite a shock. To me, whatever her cause is, it must be a whole lot for anyone to go on such path. And the media was really concerned at the time that from time to time we often saw on news that the host asked some expert “what is the worst case happens”. (by that I think they mean something really heroic but unpleasant). However, as time goes by we realized that we just worried too much, there is no such “worse case”, the Chief’s body is still getting all it needs to operate. And then we heard about the Friday meeting, the unsatisfying outcome, and the continuation of so-called “hunger-strike”. To me, the chief has gone just a bit too far that the hunger strike doesn’t seem be to a heroic act for cause anymore, from time to time, I can’t stop wondering: is she just on a body-cleansing diet…. and decided to might as well solve some problem  =__=? I mean she keeps saying she’s not going to stop until she gets the result that she wants, but I think it does not even worth to be a question that no one will get exactly what they want at the end of the day. There is no right or wrong in this just as 99.99% of everything else. Yes, there is first nation, but there is also the fragile economy. I hope in the end, it is not going to be the case that the government will just say “ok, we will give you what you ask for, please start eating again.”  and I think it will not be. But then without getting what she wants, when will Theresa’s hunger strike stop? never?  that’s not really wise. I really hope chief Theresa Spence’s somehow realize that it is ok for her to stop now while she can still round it up. This particular action has serve the purpose to the max and there is not much she can get out of this. It is time for a better, more effective approach, than turning the hunger strike into a shift in eating habit.
