HEH... i know that series... i cannot draw right now for wrist resting reasons so i will compensate by answering the best i can LOL

saki would be a green diamond! he's an april baby so his birthstone is a diamond. i also think being a diamond fits because he can tank hits (strong). And i guess he'd be on patrol duty since he is a Captain and most of the diamonds end up doing patrol/fighter roles too. like Link BOTW... a quiet knight... he's also probably old... mans seen the war!!

maru would be a spinel!! one of the birthstones for august. he's a tailor and fashion stylist. he's probably also in charge of make-up. good with his hands and also decent with fighting, but i don't think he'd want to actually do patrols. only if needed to. he would probably very curious about lunarian's fashion. if we add octo expansion lore here, i'd say a huge chunk of him was taken before so he lost a bunch of memories... but he got his body back because The Shore of Nascency got more spinel chunks.

i'd say saki would've been active even before maru was made. these gems live like.... a couple hundred years.
