"Titans, demons, and serial killers.  Worst part is…"

     Curiosity beamed in his blue eyes, this stranger… Cain, he seemed like an interesting person. Someone he could end up talking to for hours if the other willed it. “Well— we’ve come along way since 2016, I know that.” he said, pride evident in his voice. “This will be my first time going up to space as well, when this ship is finished, I mean!” Clay said, happiness clear as day in his tone. 

"Nah, you're not boring me, I'm just speaking out my own desires, that's all." He states, snickering a bit. "2016...huh. That's really a long time ago." How did Cain end up here anyway? He was just curious about the space center--but to think that it was so long ago? Was he trapped in the past too? 

     ”They’re stable because we want to assure safety to our researchers, after all they are just people who want to further educate people, we don’t want to die on the way up there, now do we?” 

     Clay then smiled. “If you’re still curious about why it’s so big, as the ship travels farther and farther up in the sky, once it reaches the outer area of the stratosphere, it breaks into parts that fall back onto earth. There’s really a living area inside there that is the part that lands on the moon itself.”

Just collecting rock samples? That seemed awfully tedious. Then again, Cain had seen too much rocks in his lifetime to not care enough about them the way researchers would. If there were any meaning to the rocks themselves, sure, but just moon rocks? It felt like he was talking to an old man.

     Clay set his book down, onto the coffee table beside the couch he was sitting on. He uncrossed his legs and sat up straight, clearing his throat. “Well that’s easy to explain.” he said softly, standing up. Clay made his way over to the stranger who had seemed eager, what with all the questions he had been asking. They were fast, but luckily he was used to fast speakers. 

     ”We don’t use those suits on earth. We wear ‘em when we get on the moon, which is what our sector is focused on currently. As for the rocket, well we ain’t quite done building it. There’s still some interior issues with the machinery, I guess.” he explained, his voice flowing smoothly with each explanation. Clay crosses his arms, examining the ship. “I’d say it weighs about 200,001 kilograms and so on that, it would burn a lot of fuel, wouldn’t it?” he casted the other a glance, smiling.

He shakes his head in disapproval. Being from space, he could already point out all the flaws with the other's mechanisms. Then again, if Hive City was at a time point where the technology in his time wasn't available...then nothing he was about to say would make sense.

  "Just onto the moon? Well I suppose but even then with all the colonies set on the moon, there would at least be place where it wouldn't be as bulky. Although, it'd be too much to carry strap on into in general with gravity in place, especially on ships." If only he had the items to show to Clay. "And with that big hunk of junk weighing so much and taking so much space--no wonder there's a lot of things wrong with it! And you're wrong, with how big that is and how much fuel goes to be 500,000 gallons or 1,892,705 liters which is more than enough to fuel probably 3 hangers filled with battleships." 

     Clay has been quite content, as per usual it was a slow day in the research lab, Sol, their boss, had been out of commission for the past few weeks in hospital are. So the rest of the team had spent their time reading up and relaxing. However, they were still needed to show up at work so Clay had devoted most of his time to reading some book on constellations. Though they were fairy tales, they were still star formations which were interesting to him.
