I'm a professional digital matte painter, concept artist and art director working in the film industry.

The last few years haven't been easy for me as an artist. Most of my work ended up being technical tasks, cleanup and production work, and I got pretty burnt out. I studied traditional art for 15 years and really missed painting for the sake of painting. These days I'm trying to reconnect with that part of myself, mixing digital and traditional influences through digital oil painting, favorite video game characters and the occasional commission.

The ambiguous characters are amazing, and Victor is their leader. Perhaps the world is too small for his intelligence, and the opening of paths to the arcane is a planned development of events. It's good that he's not alone there.
