When having a sleepover with my youngest niece, one must pull out all of the culinary stops. Tonight's menu includes orochiette au fromage with artisan beef mignettes. On the side we have maize and cheddar croquettes with a potato crostini topped with peanut pesto and strawberry preserves. I have paired a refreshing caramel and black cherry appertif with the main course to round out the experience. #fancy (at Brookings, South Dakota)
