i’m just thinking about how when harry was being accused of opening the chamber of secrets in CoS one of the other students said something along the lines of “harry? but he’s always been so nice” and how incredible it is that harry james potter has always been so nice. that this boy who has enough villain backstory fuel to have become evil ten times over still chose love. still chose goodness. something something “in spite of all the suffering you have endured you remain pure of heart”
