Horned snakehawks, and burrowing raptors.
The snakehawks are a forest floor predator that often raids ground nests and burrows for eggs but, they will also take small prey, including the parents guarding the nests if possible. They are very solitary, and territorial against members of their own kind, with the only exception being the breeding season.
Burrowing raptors are one of the planets smallest “birds.” These little, bipedal creatures live in large colonies on the sides of hills and banks. They remain in these large colonies year around, and when not used for nesting, the burrows are used for daytime roosting. At night, when they come out to hunt, they will often all go their separate ways, as they can be quite competitive with food, and aren’t above stealing another raptors prey.
