light!au cyborn sketches i did awhile back and never got around to posting(based on a mini comic from the annual), heres some headcanons i had about that universe too;

cyborns mind is still fine and conscious, but dagger wasnt able to save his vocal cords(and did a pretty shit job in general at fixing him) so hes basically completely mute.

cyborn is still fairly interested in tech, but he always struggled with the mathmatical and science aspect that came along with it, which is why he became an assistant in the first place. though, his mind handles philosophical concepts easier than og cyborn(who i personally see as using his 'smarts' as an excuse to not learn people skills)

even though dagger caused the explosion, he tends to brag more about how he 'fixed' cyborn to avoid taking the blame.

at the same time, dagger also tends to speak for cyborn, and says that the explosion made him worse than he actually is. this is partially due to being jealous of the attention cyborn gets from baron, and tries to dumb the other down.

cyborn also cant complain against any of the things dagger tells others(mostly to baron) as dagger has convinced him that he has the power to kick him out of the group, that hes only there bc he works for him. cyborn has grown to hate him for this.

shriek has no reason to get kicked out of her tribe in this universe, so she never meets baron and the others
