*Loses control of its biomechanically offensive gait and crashes into skekSaor's door*

*Rubs its tiny forehead and sits by the door churring plaintively.*

(She hears the ruckus, and initially ignores it.

(Even when the thump comes to her door, while it catches her attention, when no following knocks come she pays it no mind and returns to her reading.

(It’s not until the soft crooning sounds begin that she realises something is there, at her door, waiting.)

Oh! Ah, one moment!

(Whatever it is does not sound like one of her Elders, so she allows herself a moment to mark her page and set the book down properly before standing and crossing to the door. She pulls it open, just enough to lean through the gap and look out into…

(…an empty hallway. Or at least, no one at eye level.)

*cranes its neck to peer up at Saor* *hesitates before smiling tentatively*

(…well. She’s honestly not sure what she’s looking at. It resembles a creature from one of the Scrollkeeper’s bestiaries–a Thrushpog, she believes?– but with a face that is more…

(…oh.

(Oh, Thra, not another one.)

Ah…h-hello there, little…one.

(She crouches, trying to get a closer look. This one doesn’t look like it’s going to see bodily fluids all over her, but she’s learned one can never be too careful.)

(She still hesitates a moment before reaching out, gently cupping one hand around the creature.)

(Carefully, she brings her other primary hand around to cup skekPog between them.  Lifting the little creature, she turns back into her room, toward her bookshelf and @skekew .)
