Hello! I don't post often, but when I do it's because I think it's important! This is Artfight related. I need help getting the word out!

Ambush Week is an event created Artfight 2025 with the goal of getting low defense fighters attacked before the end of the game. Starting July 24th through the end of the month, a hitlist is released, drawn from Artfight's official Newbie/Low Defense list that people can add their names to. The name of the game is to ruin some ratios with awesome and cool art gifts >:3c Because even though this is a game about giving, it feels nice to receive a gift back!

So far the event has had great successes! The first two goals, attacking every 0 Defense fighter, and getting 25% of the list "Ambushed" (getting enough attacks that their ratio becomes balanced or that they no longer qualify as "low defense"), have been hit! The next goal is to beat last year's record, getting at least 72% of fighters an attack!

The problem:

The game is managed and advertised solo, and cannot be advertised on Artfight's Discord server effectively. We need word of mouth to keep this thing alive!

The solution:

Spread the word! If you or your friends are playing Artfight this year, let everyone know! Share this post, recommend the hitlist to people who are looking for fighters to attack, talk about it! If you use the list to attack someone, tag #Ambush Week 2026!

Build the list! If you see someone with an attack ratio of 60% or higher and fewer than 9 defenses, they qualify to be put on the hitlist! Recommend that they add themself to Artfight's official newbie/low defense list found in the discord server! Or, help us clear the existing hitlist and give back some of the work people are putting in!

Volunteer! Since the hitlist is managed solo, spreading awareness is difficult, and updating it takes time. We are absolutely looking for help! If you enjoy spending a quick 15 minutes checking stats, or want to help make the process quicker, easier, and more readable for others, please feel free to DM me! I am all about receiving others' opinions on this.

My character Lee is an exorcist, who hired Luna, who works on a ghost-hunting TV show (https://artfight.net/~sleightarcana), to help her record an informational ghost-preventative video. The ghost, Vellum (https://artfight.net/~cosmicholloway), did not appreciate this. Lee instantly cowers behind Luna, who is about to win a spear versus hammer fight.
