Jeff Grosso’s Love Letters to Skateboarding - Fathers and Sons

Syndicate…. is the embodiment of the culture that chose us. I grew up in what I would consider the “golden era” of skateboarding, in that I was aware and influenced at a young age in the 80’s, became an active participant in my teenage / adult years, and am now honored to keep up and affect change as a store owner of 20+ years. The Syndicate group highlights these very things — showing respect to the past - taking that history and rebuilding it into a strong current story line - and setting the tone for the future by integrating new technologies, ideas and relationships. It is a kindred spirit in this ever changing environment. We consider the Syndicate crew, both past and present, a part of our extended family, and treat the brand as our own.

It is a rare thing to be able to look at the back catalog and grow more and more fond of literally each and every release. For this I am grateful, to be able to participate and contribute to a small degree, and celebrate the skateboarding, musicians, artists and brand builders that helped to shape the person I have become.
