Just saw the new minions and monsters movie and I thought it was great but I spent the majority of the movie waiting for James and Henry to kiss or something.
Ok ok hear me out. Two outcasts, one a creative ray of sunshine, the other a chill rebel, becoming friends and eventually growing crushes on each other. James’s got that “I’d follow you anywhere” for Henry and Henry’s got that “I’d do anything to help your dreams come true” for James but both have the “we stick together” connection. Suddenly this monster comes in and is claiming to help James with his movie, cue Henry’s jealousy and suspicion. Henry finds out the truth and tries to warn James but can’t and when James realizes that Henry is in trouble, he abandons his dream to save him. But it all works out in the end and Henry gives James the Oscar.
Did I explain that way too over dramatically? Probably yes, but you see the vision right?? Bad boy x sunshine, outcast x outcast, friends to lovers, jealousy, pinning, and all in a movie setting. We’ve shipped for less y’all!
