It's nice to have a month dedicated to this since we lose so many lives each year from suicide. My life has been affected by suicidal thoughts and depression itself for as long as I could remember but just knowing that people really do care and understand is part of the reason I keep going everyday. This year, a senior at a neighboring school took his life just 2 months before his graduation. His name was Chase and he was only 17. I may have not known him at all personally but I feel for his family and his friends. It doesnt cost someone's life to be nice.
