biggest tip i can give to all new artist is, yes you are going to hate your work, you are your biggest critic, no there is nothing you can do about it, HOWEVER if you remember everyone feels this way about their own art work you will find your pride in your own work.

Draw what you want and eventually you will start to grow, ive been drawing for over 10 years and i started with nothing but my bedroom window some bases, bluetack and a pencil.

Yes i mostly draw the cute cartoon horses but every now and then i feel good enough to start drawing people or some other creature.

I have the most amazing partner ever, even though we are half a world apart they are always there for me and support me when i need them.

last tuesday at 2am, i said goodbye to my old baby boy, my cat cadbury. i loved him and spoilt him. im blessed to know in his last moments he called for me and i held him as he moved on, doesnt mean it doesnt hurt, as we speak im crying for the millionth time cause hes not here with me.

i remember the day we met, you were in a pet store and dad named you right there, not 3 days later mum got me out of bed and we brought you home. i was 15, im now 31.

you were just 6 weeks old and the smallest out of your siblings and the last to be chosen, but we chose you

i had 16 years with him, and now hes gone my heart is broken. he was meant to be for my mum but he chose me out of everyone else, slept on my bed, was there for me when i was sick, EVEN when i had covid and i was living on my own. he wasn't a cuddly cat and he was a Scottish fold, so he always looked grumpy.

he found his wings and i miss him so much.

thank you for 16 years, i hope you have found your siblings again and our beloved goldie that you grew up with and i hope you found my grandpa who used to call you "fat cat"

i knew the day would come when we parted ways, but i was not prepared for you to go when you did.

i will always love my Cadbury, my baby boy, i will never have another cat like you.
