Okay, so I went to IMATS London yesterday. It was an insanely long day - starting with a 4am alarm. We arrived in London at 9am, so went for a quick McDonalds breakfast and then got the tube from Victoria to Kensington Olympia where IMATS was being held.

I had an amazing day, and really enjoyed IMATS, although next year I wont be taking my best friend as she was not interested in the seminars/demos so I did miss out a little in that respect.

Anyway, as for purchases I got the following;

I have just purchased tickets for London IMATS (June 23rd). I have never been to an IMATS before, so I'm like a child before Christmas at the moment. Plus, I can actually spend as I have some money from my business allocated to update my kit. Wehey!

I'm trying to make a shopping list before I go - one thing I will be getting is the temptu pro airbrush kit. I've been researching airbrush make-up for a while and it seems that this particular brand has some of the best reviews. Plus, it's expensive to ship to the UK usually, so it will save me a fortune actually being able to get it in this country. I'm also going to college in September to learn sfx and tv make-up, so I will be hitting the Kryolan stand too.

Another stand I'm keen to have a look at is the Make-Up Forever one, purely to see what the hype is about.

I may to a haul after IMATS and review some products, so keep your eyes here.

Having recently just finished my degree, by recently I mean today; I thought I should fill my extra time with something productive.

Firstly, I will introduce myself. My name is Sally Jade, and I’m a make-up artist in South Wales, specialising in bridal and occasion make-up. I am, however really interested in special effects make up so this is something that I will be experimenting with now that I have more time.

Why did I get in to make-up? Well, about 12 years ago, up until about 8 years ago I suffered with extremely severe acne. It was so severe that I was put on a drug called roaccutane for over 6 months, something you may or may not have heard of. It’s a controversial drug which has been the subject of many debates, and is something I will probably post more about if it is something of interest to my readers (if anyone does decide to read my blog).

Anyway, I have started this blog to share some make-up tips and post about different things I get up to and experiment with that are make-up related. As make-up is an art form, I’ll also be searching around looking for tips from other mua’s. I run a business and that is super formal, so blogging allows me to add a personal twist to my professional life.
