But with your mum, it just sucks. I'm sorry that she's so difficult all the time; how often do you stand up to her - I mean you /are/ 24 years old, so by all rights she shouldn't be treating you the way she does, and you should have more freedom than she gives you. :I Do you tell her this kinda stuff? hidfu It's weird cause my mum's different- she can be awfully difficult sometimes but she'll sit down and listen if me or my sister seriously want to talk to her about how we feel or whatever. If there's any possibility that you can, just get her to sit down and talk to you and let you speak without butting in until you're done. Get everything out and tell her it's not okay how she treats you. >:C Explain you're trying and ask her to help you, if she's so adamant about you getting a job. Ask for help in looking up good jobs you can apply for, and seriously if she cares for you, as your mum, she should be willing to help out. It doesn't matter what age you are, really, because if you're having trouble getting a foot in to a good job then she should give you that boost or support rather than moaning, which as you know makes everything worse.

If she refuses you help despite everything, then damn I'm not sure what you can do with her. Since I'm not looking into jobs I don't know how hard it is to actually kinda get one, but I assume it's pretty damn hard. :I But dude just keep on looking and applying, and even if it's not something you love, as long as you can get good money out of it then you'll get one step closer to moving outta that house. And then you can move to London or wherever you want, where there's more job opportunities and you're away from your parents, and things will look up. Instead of focusing on the negatives, try and imagine what /can/ be, and work for it. Yep, generic advice, but I really want to see you happy and all I can offer is my support for you. ;n;

I hate to see you thinking negatively of yourself tho'. :C I mean I've met you once, but I had a great day with you. You're really lovely and I enjoyed spending time with ye and chatting and you were amazing! No matter how your mum may make you feel, outside of her opinion you have friends that think you're pretty coo', miss bex. You're fun to hang out with and I'd love to meet you again one day. ouo I wish you'd think more positively of yourself, because you deserve to feel good. You're trying and that's what matters. this post is entirely full of shit advice but hey, just know I'ma be here cheering you on, and I really hope things look up for you. I have some idea of how hard it is to get into animation and art-related jobs, but you do have a heck of a lot of talent, Bex, and you'll get your big break one day. <3 Just keep on going. uvu
