from what we do know about the boot-riders is that there was a lot of value placed on honor particularly in combat (presumably in melee combat specifically. hand-to-hand, face-to-face). and despite his big talk, benny still seems to adhere to boot-riders customs and conventions in his own way (“I ain’t a fink, dig?”). i touched on it in my post talking abt the tops trio having matching guns, but there is a certain sentimentality to all of them. and while benny may seemingly deny it most, he’s just as sentimental as the rest. sure, the cemetery choice is definitely out of his own sense of practicality (cus who is gonna mess with a grave in a town in the middle of nowhere) but it would’ve been just as—if not more—effective to toss their body in the coyote den down the road. let the dogs eat your remains. but he doesn’t.

I am sure the horse has been beat to death but I want my turn with the bat.

I am personally a fan of the headcanon that Fahrenheit is Hancock's daughter. I like the idea of her being an accident baby from his youth well enough but I much prefer the idea that Fahrenheit was an orphan/abandoned/runaway teen that wound up in Goodneighbor, trying to make it by.

Caught Hancock's eye not only for being a kid in Goodneighbor but smart as a whip, and very observant while often being overlooked for her age. I like to think she fought beside him in the coup against Vic, and that he even trained her personally. Though she already had some shoddy knowledge from growing up in the wasteland.

Then when the dust settled, he told her she had earned her place as his second hand if she wanted it. Both because he had developed a fondness for the kid and this way he could keep an eye on her, but also because she truly showed her potential: quick learner, intelligent, observant, and on the right side of history.

However all this is disrupted with the retcon of making Fahrenheit Hancock's 'main squeeze'. So let's theorize there.
