I know what your think 'THEY ONLY SEE THE HOLDERS AS VESSELS' abd 'THERE THE REASON ALL THIS HAPPENED' and I agree with the second one, but let's consider what I'm going to say right now:

The light of happiness was the only one hesitant to go with the light of solidarities plan. And it's split, the light of passion was one of the only souljams to help hollyberry cookie with her trauma. And let's also not forget what the virtues purpose were. The light of knowledge purpose was to be a distributor of knowledge to cookiw kind, the light of volition purpose was to grant wishes a give purpose to others, change purpose was to oversee creation, and solidarity was to simply protect the weak and be the ground for morality. Knowledge, volition, change, and solidarity somewhat didn't get to experience cookie kind and connect with them cause of their purpose wasn't connected to that. I think the light of solidarity knew they had to protect cookies and knew the beast doings were wrong, but was only fighting against them because they knew it was wrong at first.

While happiness was to nurture and ease the burdens of cookie kind, meaning they were the only virtue to experience connection with cookies. So it makes sense the other virtues wouldn't entirely see the holders as anything but vessels since they're purpose got in the way of connecting with them and cookie kind

And they had a point to keep the truth a secret because I think before shadow milk cookie and the other beasts found out the truth, the reason he didn't go after the witches was because the implication of them sealing them away ment they were still watching them, he still had some trust and loyalty to them, explaining why he barely talked about them in act 1. But once the truth came out, he probably lost all loyalty and trust of the witches since they did absolutely nothing and didn't care what they did, so it makes sense he's talking about them more in act 2.

In that one live stream/event a while ago it was revealed that they have the story planned out for the next ten(?) years, this clearly shows us that they plan their stories WAYYY ahead, we can even see this ourselves with episode eight of crispia where the ultimate cookie, sm/fok, his ties to pure vanilla, AND the former twos connection are all foreshadowed or hinted at. At that point they probably didn't have shadow milk, the character, fully written out yet, but they knew there would be someone that served his role in the story.

SMC only got really popular when beast-yeast chapters 7 and 8 came out which was only a year ago, to assume that devsisters completely rewrote everything they had planned to revolve around SMC instead goes against everything we know of their writing style. If anything it's most likely that his current role in the plot was already set in stone before even the first chapter of beast-yeast was released, hell he's literally in every single awakened ancients update tittle screen, from DC to HB (i couldnt find him in WL's but i might just be blind, or the point is that shadow milk doesn't know the events of that chapter), they've been shoving his importance in our face since before his update! I wouldn't be surprised if SM had been written to have as much fan appeal as possible, but when you are making a character so vital to the future of your story isn't that a good thing? Especially since his character is very well written all in all.

so act 2’s prologue sets up Gingerbrave’s connection to both The Ultimate Cookie and the Light of Solidarity/Hope(?).

BY 15 confirmed Gingerbrave as a cookie made from the Base Recipe (The Brave Cookie Recipe), which appears to be the foundational recipe for cookiekind.

Because of that, he was the perfect host for The Ultimate Cookie, because he didn’t have all the bells and whistles of other ingredients muddling his dough.

Now…

With the Light telling Gingerbrave to take her to The First Oven, the birthplace of the Soul Jam and Gingerbrave himself…

I’m wondering if there will be a moment where the Light attempts to use Gingerbrave as her new host, given what’s been previously established and their connection, which is similar to Gingerbrave’s connection to The Ultimate Cookie.

There’s no dough set up for her, and no way to give her any life powder, since she’s very weak I don’t think she could sustain herself without more, similarly to when White Lily Cookie was in her coma.

So, what if the Light of Solidarity gets baked with Gingerbrave?

What happens then?

We had THIS button, which was absolutely crazy by the way, which could also be a nod towards Gingerbrave becoming the new holder?

and if I’m right, will we have another moment of Gingerbrave struggling with the chance to become more powerful?

Thus begs the question, what is the difference between accepting power from the Light of Solidarity as opposed to accepting it from The Ultimate Cookie?

Is it the basic question of a perceived Good vs Evil? Does it matter if, in the end, there’s a chance that you come out as someone completely different?
