The present… isn't entirely sealed. It's not tied together, but rather taped together with gray duct tape to keep it hidden enough. Abigail can enter it in order to tear the wrapping away; for when she does, a little sheet ghost springs upwards, tearing through its bindings before retreating back inside.

The gift, now revealed, is a jack-in-box. The casing is painted white with blue stripes and it's tied with decorative red ribbon. Notably, it doesn't have a crank - seemingly only be activated by Abigail's ghostly magic - making it look rather unassuming. Perfect for a good mischief.

a not-so-little gift, for her? abigail drifts around it, gently brushing it with her claws. she's excited—her glow is bright—but she doesn't want to damage it. abigial elects to haunt it instead, hoping that the action won't destroy whatever’s inside.

turns out, it isn't harmed; rather, she's able to peel off all the paper for a little surprise. what a cute little thing! what joyously evil potential for mischief it has. abigail tests the item a few times, figuring out the mechanics. once she believes she has a grasp on it, she wails happily.
