i’m just gonna say it outright — i’ve lost motivation to write for mcyt and formula one currently. this meaning that maybe sometime in the future i’ll come back to it, but as of right now, there’s nothing left in me to write for the two things.

it sucks to say goodbye to this account and the memories it holds — i’ve met friends through here, read some amazing ass fics, and in general had an amazing time!

I just did a 2k run for my gym class and let me tell ya — I am absolutely dead.

my body is conditioned for ice and the lateral movements for goaltending — not running distances for minutes at a time.

“and lewis this is a question for you,” he looked up from his hands as the interviewer directed the attention onto him. “how would you best describe Y/N as not only a driver, but also your significant other?”

tilting his head down so he could peer at your smiling form a few spots down from him, he thought about where he should start.

“as a driver I would say that not only are they super talented — especially at such a young age, but they are also fun yet challenging to race off against,” the moments where you had pulled up behind him during a race crossed his mind — the ‘oh shit’ moment that he had whenever you did also crossed his mind.

sebastian smirked as lewis spoke, turning and giving your arm a slight shove.

“as my significant other... they’re chaotic — constantly moving, singing, or cracking jokes,” smiles spread across the room. “I don’t think there’s ever a dull moment between the two of us.”

“how cute,” sebastian spoke into his mic — the teasing tone laid thickly as he spoke.

you looked down at lewis with a bashful smile and warm cheeks — him returning a smile to rival your own.

“as much as the two of you are adorable, can we talk about the race?”

you watched in glee as lando stepped onto the podium — a smile so large it looked like it hurt covering his face.

clapping and cheering along with the team, you couldn’t have been more proud of him in that moment.

walking down from his podium, the trophy in hand and hair weighed down from the champagne sprayed moments earlier, he jumped into his team — pats on his back and screams of congratulations greeting him.

it was moments like these that made you happy. that made you wish that you could just run up to him and give him the affection that was strictly private only.

as time went on, the team trickled further and further towards their section — many rushing to pack things up and others basking in their success today. however, lando stood near the privacy of mclaren’s motorhome with you held tightly in his arms.

“I’m so insanely proud of you, lando,” your voice was muffled as you spoke into his chest — the vibrations paired with your words bringing a smile to his face.

“thank you, love,” he planted one kiss you your head, making you bring your head up to look at him, before he planted another one onto your lips — his actions more passionate then they usually were during race weekends with the privacy the two of you had.

unaware of the camera snapping photos of you two, lips locked, and lovesick eyes.

turning slowly, you tried to make sense of his words. “technically? what do you mean by that?”

“I mean that yes, this is technically bad since we were told to keep it under wraps — but technically good at the same time because now,” he grasped your hands and pulled you to your feet. “I can hold your hand, hug, and kiss you all I want now.”

“zak isn’t going to be happy.”

“he loves us — the most he will do is give us the talk.”

we all know that clay also gets into sports hardcore

so I don’t think he’d bat an eye at you screaming at a tv in the other room

in all honesty I think he’d rush in to see what’s got you so heated

if he understands the sport, he’ll get just as into it with you

jumping and cheering on goals

groaning and yelling when a bed call or goal happens

overall he matches your energy

she’s just confused as to why your pacing, yelling, or jumping around

sits on the couch and just watches you lose your shit

“are you fucking kidding me?!”

will ask you to tell her about what happened even though she watched it happen and can see why you’re either mad or happy

just so she can hear you talk passionately about it

there’s definitely been a moment when she’s streaming and the chat can hear you losing it in the background

or he’s posting it for the world to see

you make it onto one of those ‘funniest quackity moments’ videos

he will edge you on — if you’re mad about a bad call made, he’ll side with the refs — always

he wants to see how angry he can get you

while he’s teasing and provoking normally, he would also like to actually sit down and watch the game with you

he doesn’t have to understand what’s going on to feel the energy that not only you, but the players on the screen radiate

and slowly back away

he lets you be loud — he doesn’t really care

he’s a little scared and a lot of concerned

I feel like he’d also video tape it just so he can laugh at it later

loves loves loves seeing you get so into the game despite not even playing it

^ also I think at first he wouldn’t really be into whatever sport you’re watching

but after awhile it grows on him — so expect him to get hyped and angry with you
