Thoughts of a smoker

I wish everything was as simple as 1 or 0. But, when you think about it, isn't it? Everything is either a 1 or a 0. You are either a 1 or a 0. You are either a yes or a no. And my dear, you think you don't know. The universe was created with the intent of us being either 1 or a 0, and you my love, beautifully hacked that design.

You haven't let your guard down, my love. You've just let me come inside and star gaze laying on our backs with no one but the stars to witness us in all our beauty and glory.

Our stars have brushed past each other and the star dust has left me in awe of its beauty.

A starry night, cool but gentle breeze, an expensive wine being violated as I drink it directly from the bottle, a cigar that burns slower than a corpse but reeks of the same death and poetry of all the maestros that have passed on their 2am thoughts and battles with their own self or tales of a broken heart or tales of valent bravery or just a passing note on life. That is, my kind of night. And one day, I hope I'll find the one who shares the same lust for disaster and same love for destruction.

They think we're too naive to think about the future so far ahead. Little do they know we have brains and hearts more mature than they ought to be.

For once her smile seemed real, but it hid fear.

Even though couldn't sleep next to her, I miss my arms around her calm, resting body.

Lost in the echo of who I am supposed to be and who you want me to be.

"Your eyes are like the rain clouds." I said. She cringed and said "Are you saying I cry a lot?". I looked into her eyes and said "With sunlight at the right angles, they let me see rainbows." She smiled.

Someday we’d die and turn back into stardust drifting in some distant galaxy. Maybe then we’ll be together.

When his mind wanders, it strays into the stars. Only the empty void of space was big enough for his dreams.
