Is the Water Drinkable

Hello, all. Today, I bring you another post from something rather unique and full of soul!

First and foremost, I encourage you all to play this demo. It's full of life, creativity, and packed with gun! I mean... Fun. Here, go play this right now, you will not regret it.

Now, for the real discussion here: the water.

While I will not disclose where this is at for the sake of spoilers, all I will say is that this environment the water is in is impressively expansive! And, it has wonderful, natural color. More importantly, the water makes a very nice splash sound!

Let's start the year off with a good one, shall we?

This film is one of my favorites of the romance genre. It's so bold to see the blossoming of a gay relationship on-screen, especially given the time it released! It makes me so nostalgic.

While the water is sparce in this film, I've done my best to find the best images I can to showcase it. Unfortunately, most of the water is dimly lit, and hard to see, truly. It would be an unfair advantage.

As such, I've chosen this scene. It is not the best example of water, but it's water regardless. This particular puddle isn't so... Sanitary. But, it is mentioned that there are no chunks. So, that's a good thing! Chunky water would be incredibly concerning.

Now, this water is reminiscent of sewage. This does affect the score, I'm afraid. It's certainly not good to drink sewage water, especially if it's such a dark color...

The beginning of the film does happen to show a bathtub full of water. Getting images of this proved difficult, but I can say with certainty that the water looked clean! Good news. Though, I'd imagine it must have been cold..

If this were to be grading the consumability of the bathwater, I'd easily give it a 7/10.

However, the image depicts sad sewage water :(.

POOLROOMS

Hello. Thank your for you submission, I'm deeply grateful.

I'm unsure what to feel about this room. I could swear it's something I see online constantly, but I may be wrong. Though the idea of a room that is almost entirely pool is very intriguing!

Markedly, this is poolwater, I'm sure. Surely this could mean the water is chemically altered to give it it's color. The look of it is very nice, I enjoy how serene the water looks. One could make a paper boat and follow it to see where it ends up... Or, a rubber duck - If you will.

Suppose I will take the chance to sip on this. Maybe it's the nature of the environment the water is in, but I get the sense it could be cold. somehow. And, it might just taste as if you've left a glass of water out in the open for a day. Not necessarily stale, but notably not tasting the same as it did a day ago.

Furthermore, we don't know who (or what) has been lurking in these waters. Are there other people? Do little mice fend for their survival to avoid drowning? It's strangely empty, but for brevity sake, I'll assume this area is left lone.

Mayhaps if you're desperate for water, this would be a good idea to drink, but not in mass amounts. Enough to quench the thirst, really.

I regret to inform you all that this post is not about my deep affections for this mustachioed green man, Luigi Mario.

If you'll look closer, you'll see out target of interest today.

This fountain is quite the eye-candy! It has impressive blue tiling, and the general structure of it is incredibly lovely to look at. But, let's inspect the water that spews out of this, shall we?

Firstly, the water comes out in a rather strange way; Gushing as bubbles, falling sporadically both in and out of the fountain's parameters... But, it's not an unpleasant sort of burble. It's rather unique. Fountains are always more peaceful to look at, and I've always admired things that break the mold in terms of structure.

I remain uncertain about what the taste factor of this water would be. It's constantly being agitated by the momentum of the fountain, so I would assume it would have an aerated texture, as a result. Not exactly smooth, but not too harsh on the throat, either.

Speaking as someone who used to sneak drinks at fountain water from those at the malls when I was younger, I will make good on my rating.

I did not think the water would be pink, but this is an interesting start. Normally, I am accustomed to our beloved clear or blue water. However, we're not one to ignore a case like this.

The ebbing looks fantastic, and the lotuses only make it look more enticing. If not to take a sip, why not take a dip? I'm rather curious to know what sort of life lies in these waters.

One might be able to filter the water here, but it remains a question whether the pink hue will remain or fade with the process. Perhaps the color implies that it is not good for anyone, and should not be consumed?

There are just so many questions that remain unanswered, but I can answer at least one.

I recent took interest in this [Toontown server] that's still in development. It's a very interesting thing, and I love the work that has gone into it so far. i love you.

But as we know, this is not how we do things here. We're here to inspect the validity of the water.

The first two images convey a very calming texture of water that is inherently very pleasing to look at. To me, it insights joy in all sorts of ways and angles.

The water in the last picture is a little hard to see, but rest assured, it is there. Let me tell you, it looks crisp, as well; as is the case with all river-type water.

Though, the water in Toonlantis is meant to imply it is ocean water, which could imply it is salty. Even as a Toon, it would not be recommended to drink... Unless you do. I cannot stop you, for I love you.

The aesthetics are there, and so is the intricate webbing and lighting that casts on our wonderful aquatic delight.

As such, this water shall receive a:

First and foremost, this is a very adorable doggy on the screen.

Secondly, look at how gorgeous this water looks! It's a beautiful seafoam to blue gradient, and it has a lovely texture for being a game on the Wii.

As clear as this water looks, it is sea-water, unfortunately. Without a shred of doubt, this water is salty. Let's say this was purified though:

On most coasts, the water tends to be a nice and cool temperature upon making contact with it. Cool water is best for quenching the thirst, I think!
