I can’t believe i just realized why the baby in The Incredibles is named Jack-Jack. It’s a reference to the quote “jack of all trades, master of none”.

Spoilers and Unpopular Opinion for Avengers Infinity War
So i’ve never made a text post before and this will probably be a long one but i’ve been seeing most, if not all of the Marvel fans who saw Infinity War absolutely HATE the ending of the movie. This is most likely gonna be an unpopular opinion but...i actually loved it.
DON’T GET ME WRONG, i was absolutely heart-broken watching all these characters i love die (especially Peter GOD DAMN IT TOM HOLLAND WHY YOU GOTTA BREAK MY HEART AND MAKE ME CRY LIKE THAT OVER MY CHILD-HOOD HERO AND ALL TIME FAV CHARACTER) but i feel like it was good for us to see all these characters die and in such a heart-breaking way.
The way i see it, we’re all emotionally broken but that means it left a HUUUUGE impact. The stories with happy endings are kind of boring sometimes, it’s good for a story to have a sad or heart-wrenching ending because i feel like it leaves a bigger impact on the audience and their hearts. If stories (especially ones based on action or super-heroes) never had stakes or consequences, the audience would never have that feeling of adrenaline rush through them during an action sequence or the climax when things are supposed to be the most intense.
The Marvel movies have great source material from the comics and as a fan of both the comics and movies, i think it’s great they took a big move like this on their movie adaption. I mean it did it’s job right? For sure EVERYONE is going to see the fourth one now and we’re all going to be talking about this overall fantastic movie for a long long LONG time.
Anyone who already knows how Hollywood works and knows the next phases of the MCU should know who will come back, live and die/stay dead (then again Marvel Studios could have ANYTHING up their sleeves) but for the way Infinity War went, i’m glad it ended the way it did! Of course i hope most of the people who died don’t stay dead, but for the sake of story-telling man that was one hell of a good ending.
they didn’t need to show us that
thanos could have snapped his fingers, and it could have cut to black
they could’ve revealed the people who died off screen in avengers 4
they didn’t have to have bucky’s last word be a soft scared “steve?” before disintegrating
they didn’t have to have t’challa be taken in front of okoye’s eyes for the second time
wanda didn’t have to die weeping over vision’s body
sam didn’t have to die alone
rocket didn’t have to watch groot die a second time
the guardians didn’t have to watch each other dissolve one by one
tony and the audience, all of us, didn’t have to watch peter parker literally beg and cry for his life while clutching tony and apologizing as he slowly turns to ash
