Ross had been the one to start this whole thing. He had to remain strong. But god, Sebastian was calling him out left and right. He hadn't really submitted to anyone because it just didn't feel natural to him. Or, okay, maybe it just hadn't come up outside of his friends helping him not feel so pent up at times, but it wasn't in the way he had wanted or expected. He was known to be bossy and sometimes Ross wondered if that was why it felt like a roadblock for him? So Sebastian saying all these things to him made the Switch almost want to give in.
"I don't need to dangle anything in front of you, Sebastian. If you require some sort of reward system simply to demonstrate basic self-control, I think that's something you should probably unpack with one of the instructors here instead of me. Or a therapist. Or both." Ross's voice remained calm, considering the imagery Sebastian had so casually dumped into his head. He was really trying to make sure the other Switch didn't notice that he had gone quiet either. "And personally, Sebastian Smythe. I think there's something to be said about personal restraint as well. Not every impulse needs to be immediately indulged in just because it feels really really good. Then you're just chasing a euphoric feeling forever and ever."
What would Ross even know about doing something impulsively just because it felt good? Nothing, that's what. But he could try to at least come across as convincing. But, at the same time, it also felt considerably less convincing when Ross was actively trying not to imagine exactly what Sebastian meant by obvious possibilities. But that should have been the end of it.
Because then Sebastian started talking about praise and Ross went noticeably still. It was something he craved often. And Sebastian was pinning him absolutely to the t about it.
There was something profoundly irritating about hearing someone he'd known for approximately twenty minutes describe a feeling Ross understood much better than he wanted to admit. That little rush when his director singled him out after rehearsal. A review mentioning his performance specifically. Even something as simple as being told he'd done something right had always managed to make Ross feel a little bit better. It didn't even have to be sexual.
There was a moment where Ross wondered about hearing it sexually, trying to just imagine it, his cheeks turning a bit more pink than they had been. Which made Ross fully turn away from Sebastian, focusing on unpacking again with a snippy "Shut Up" thrown at him at the same time. This fantasy that Sebastian was feeding into his brain was making him feel light headed.
He should have stopped there. That's all that should have happened, but curiousity often times killed the cat, especially for Ross Berry. Ross reached for another shirt. Folded it. Set it down before turning back to Sebastian, blue eyes glancing at him before down to his lips, trying to get more information.
"... What outfit, exactly?" Immediately he cut in before Sebastian could even react to his own question. "Don't look so pleased with yourself that I'm asking follow up questions. You brought it up and then deliberately left out the details. That's an unfinished thought, and I happen to find those irritating. Plus, if you're in your head thinking about me, I'd like to at least quality control and make sure that I am consistently the same in your dreams as I am in reality. Check to make sure you have taste, of course."
