he’s grabbing her wrist in a flash, bringing it to his lips. his eyes had never left hers – even as they began to fill with blood.

“Vampires are a thing again and everyone is freaking out about it, I just want to figure out what the hell happened that made all of them humans in the first place and why now all of a sudden are they vampires again?”

“I mean, it’s true…”

“I don’t know. All I know is that I want my fiance to have heart palpitations when he sees me.”

“if he’s the right one that should be happening regardless. try this one on.” the petite girl shoved another dress at her before proceeding to write down a few notes in her sketchbook.

“and it’ll be the death of me.”

“It’s a little…basic, I suppose.”

“what are you thinking — lace, silk ? do you want it bigger ?”

“maybe you shouldn’t have,” katherine agreed with the shake of her head, “there’s enough going on that i have to worry about, my daughter blackmailing me shouldn’t be one of them.”

“of course they’re not cannibals. vampires aren’t people.”
