Nina got permissions from YouTube to publish the full length version of Sita Sings the Blues without having to chopping it into smaller pieces after paying Sony/ATV over $50,000 for the rights to Annette Hanshaw’s music.

Nina was generous enough to Skype with me and answer a variety of questions about her work. The watermark makes this video very annoying to watch and I wasn’t willing to shell out the $$ for the full version of Camtasia, but she is very interesting to hear-- think of it as a podcast :)
