Crowley wakes and, finding Aziraphale dead, becomes, in his heartbreak, a furniture delivery person and is crushed to death by a falling wardrobe. Then everybody cries.

Just in case you were feeling happy today 🥲
Yesterday was a bad writing day. I spent a lot of time staring at a screen. Lots of Tumblr replies. Lots of Twitter (the Netflix Sandman trailer going out didn’t help). Lots of being grumpy at myself and convinced I couldn’t do it any more. The script was a mess. I was doomed. This morning I printed out what I had to fix, picked up a pen, made a few notes and started typing. It was fun and easy and straightforward. I finished it and sent it to the people who needed to see it, and just got an amazed call from our script editor saying she was laughing while crying and couldn’t work out how I’d done everything in a day.
And I hadn’t done it all in a day. All of the being miserable yesterday was necessary for it to fly today. All of the knowing it was insoluble and awful made the work today relatively easy. I had to get out of my own way, and had to read it freshly, without being attached to anything. And then I just did the notes. And to make the thing that worked today, a lot of stuff that didn’t quite work or sort of worked had to be written too. It’s always easier to fix stuff that exists.
Anyway. Yesterday = bad writing day. Today = good writing day. I thought it was worth telling people, in case there was anyone else out there who was having a bad writing day too.

Hey, little fun fact for those who don't know, but when Crowley calls Aziraphale at the beginning of s1e5, we get to see his phone! He has Aziraphale saved as work, which makes sense, this way no one could see his name on first glance if they were to go through his contacts.
Then there's the background, and the motif and colour scheme is very Crowley. At first glance it's just flames, painful considering that the bookshops is currently burning, but then you look again and oh—
There are hearts.

“Before the Beginning” automata and electronic music box (not hand-crank)
These have been in the works for a *long* time; I’ve lost track of how many hours I’ve spent tweaking or redesigning parts, but they are finally ready! Made from wood, paint, resin, acrylic, and brass. Inspired by that beautiful opening scene of S2, and of course the Aziraphale and Crowley are from the Peter Anderson Studios title credits. Turn the handle and they spin in space; press the star button on the front to play the music box rendition of the Good Omens theme. The (electronic) music box is rechargeable via a port in the back (cable included).
I couldn’t decide whether to make this blue with gold or gold with blue, so I made one of each just for variety- I’ll post the gold one tomorrow!
