hello!
i've been trying to prolong this as much as i can. but unfortunately, i don't think i can push it any further. this blog will be turned into an archive and i'll no longer be writing on here (unless i need to make any announcements). i'm not sure if this will be a permanent thing as i may end up closing the blog entirely but i'll definitely let it be known beforehand.
this blog has been a wonderful place and i've enjoyed creating for atla while also making new friends and having a new community. but several instances did dampen my experience heavily, which resulted in this blog getting the dreaded content label. i tried appealing it five times and even emailed tumblr support itself but it was beginning to look like a losing battle. so i'm cutting my losses and starting afresh!
i'll still write for atla but maybe not as much because i do love aang and the gaang so much. i'm still under singse on that blog so i'm pretty sure you'll be able to find me easily. the blog's gonna look the same as this one—or not! may change up the style. :) but i won't be as active because life gets pretty hectic for me come september so we'll see how that goes.
it's been a really good time (for the most part) and thank you all so much for your kindness and support! hopefully, i'll see you on the other blog and if not, that's totally cool! i'm grateful that you were here to begin with.
looking forward to creating more soon!

OKAY last thing about this but i've seen yet ANOTHER post about how kya looks so similar to zuko which means that katara cheated on aang with zuko and i just—!
it seems to me that a lot of people do not understand katara's character at all??? to say that she could cheat to begin with is quite jawdropping. are we remembering the same character who respects herself so much and would never stoop so low? and zuko who does cherish aang's friendship and would never do anything so dishonourable.

i rarely want to dump on someone's ship because to each their own. but the way people read kataang to filth, i can do the same to zutara by simply saying why on earth would katara fall in love with the man who comes from the nation who killed her mother and wiped out almost all of the waterbenders in her tribe and who chased her and her family and friends for months with the intent of killing them?
i know zuko's intentions were driven by trauma, manipulation and his desperate need to appease his father but katara didn't know that and even if she did, it would still take her ages to simply just like zuko. not talking about love.

zutara shippers harassing kataang artists for not drawing zutara, that's actually insane. there are amazing zutara artists out there who draw your preferred ship, why are you approaching a popular kataang artist and telling them that they'd get more likes if they drew zutara but they're stuck drawing a "babysitter" and her "incel baby boy"?
you do realise this type of behaviour is why quite a big majority can't stand zutara as a ship, right?
Whose doing that? Please give me links because I want to block those people as a zutara fan
it was via an anon that the artist received so there's no one to block, unfortunately. but it isn't the first time i've seen such behaviour and i'm pretty sure it won't be the last.
