“ben ben ben ben ben!” sure, most would use his title when addressing the new king, but fantine wasn’t most people. besides, he was dating audrey, and audrey was one of her bestest friends and so ben deserved to be on a first name status. “so, what color are you wearing to the coronation ball? blue, like usual?” she had been sent to confirm, so that audrey’s dress wouldn’t clash.

the girl was a witch, and not just any witch, but one who had openly spelled ben, who had been the love of her best friend’s life at one point. to say that fantine was suspicious would be putting it lightly. “what is it?” ugh, why did more isle kids keep coming over? it was bad enough that maleficent’s daughter was running around free, now they had more.
