i was wondering what brush’s you used for ur latest post?

ahh tysm!! i think you're my first ask ever - which is really exciting 😭

i use procreate for my art (i've been trying out csp in my free time too but haven't quite made the switch over just yet oop) so all of the brushes i'll be sharing are exclusive to that - but i'll probably make another post with other suggestions once i'm more comfortable with csp 👀👀👀

i pretty much exclusively use custom brushes. gumroad has been my go-to site for mostly everything, and all the brushes i use are free!

Manero Brushes has quite literally everything i've been using for the last year and a half, but you're going to want to look for brush sets specifically labelled as "freebies." there's a bunch of gorgeous full brush sets priced around $20+ if you're interested in them, but that's entirely optional. all of the brush sets that i use / will be listing should be under the category circled above!

application wise, i tend to start off my drawings with the sketchbook inkwash 05 brush from the sketchbook pack as a base and slowly build my layers with both the hb pencil and eraser 02 brush from the pencilmania pack.

i prefer to manually paint my colors over that base layer by layer so each color can bleed through, sort of like you would traditionally. i also use the rustic inker from the stippling pack for more defined line-work, as well as the sketchbook pencil 3b and sketchbook inker 01 brushes from the sketchbook set here and there.
